Day 14 – Osaka Arrival

8.14AM, Nagasaki Station - It’s very humid in Nagasaki and something I won’t miss. The seats on the train are high class leather with plenty of leg room. It’s so awesome.
10.47AM, Shinkansen RailStar – What an awesome name for a type of train – I should get to Osaka around 1.30PM. I’ve just had a bento box for breakfast and really do wish we had them in England. I ran into Marcel at Hakata station, his battery had ran out so he was struggling to figure out how to get to Kyoto.
I finished one of the books I was reading for Xboxer360 – Deus Ex: Icarus Project. I’ve written the review and started reading Crysis: Legion for similar purposes. The enjoyment I get from reading is slowly returning after a two year break.
10.00PM, Sunroute Hotel Osaka – Osaka station was heaving today (it’s the last day of Golden Week), there were police everywhere with megaphones directing people. The hotel I’m in is nice, typical style business room – I’ve got a single on 11th floor with fair view.
The weather is very hot so I just relaxed after my long train journey. I ventured out to the Osaka Sky Building, which has a 40 storey observation deck with fantastic views of the city. Nara tomorrow!
