November 2009 Bamboo PR Work
Yes, I’m still doing the whole time travel thing. I thought I’d quickly add to this because aside from Me Learning, we’re still doing the PR for Masergy (now lower-caps), Musion and Intego. The below was written two months in and it seems I had a strong understanding of what was expected of me already. Well played younger me.
I’m delighted with my new position at Bamboo PR. I’m fully settled in at the PR firm and am enjoying working across the range of clients:
- MASERGY (a global service provider)
- Musion (the world’s leading holographic company)
- Me Learning (a provider of social care training)
- Intego (the world’s leading Mac security software provider)
My duties vary from day to day and come under the following categories:
- Collating coverage across a variety of mediums (print and online)
- Looking after Bamboo’s clients’ needs
- Pitching bylined articles, news pieces and case studies to the Channel, Consumer and B2B trade press
- Writing press releases, award releases, email marketing, etc
- Dealing with the editors daily
- New Business development
